Simplified Download Process

To simplify operations, Traffic Count uses a separate remote terminal program (ATDownload) to receive data from the remote location speed sign. By using an industry standard terminal program, much of the guess work is removed in downloading external data. This also allows for future speed signs that will not use terminal communication but rather save their data directly to removable memory devices which can be processed directly in the host computer.

How does it all work?

By simply hooking the cables supplied by the sign manufacturer to your laptop computer you are able to run ATDownload and and receive all the raw data in the terminal view window. You simply >>select port, >>open port, >>select save filename, >>start download. When the data is finished, the file is automatically saved to the computer and your ready to process the data in Traffic Count.
