The second painting is of a woman and is 18” H X 12” W, oil on canvas. It is signed “Brill” (photo of signature below – possibly Paul or Mattheus Brill). and I believe (because this information was handed down) it was purchase by Milton Schouyer [sic?] on one of his numerous trips to Europe and also given to my Grandmother in approximately 1922. This painting resided at my Grandmother's in Germantown, Philadelphia and then, on her death, was given to my Mother where it resided in Southampton, PA until her death August 2007. The painting comes with the original frame not pictured below. I have scans in 600 DPI and if you would like to see these scans (approximately 25Mbits each), contact me.
